Auditions
The Oratorio Society of Virginia is always looking for new members and invites singers in all voice ranges to audition. Auditions are held in late-August/early-September and at the beginning of each rehearsal cycle (usually early January and mid-March).
The audition process, like the rehearsals, is designed to support singers in bringing out their best capabilities. Your audition will include singing a short prepared solo, some sight-reading, and matching of pitches and intervals. After your audition, the Membership Chair will contact you with the results.
If you are interested in singing with The Oratorio Society of Virginia, auditions will be held:
- Sunday, September 12th for the 2010-2011 season.
- Monday, January 10th, 2011 for the March concert.
- Monday, March 21st, 2011 for the May concert.

- Complete the Member Information Form and bring it with you to the audition.
